Tipi & Bobs Waterfront Lodge is situated in Puriri Bay on Great Barrier Island from which it commands unobstructed views across the entire harbour and out to the northern tip of the Coromandel.

Just off the Lodge’s boat ramp dolphins come close inshore to the delight of onlookers and photographers.

A five minute walk from there brings one to the Stonewall Store, Post shop and Pa Beach Café.  Continue along the shade dappled road a couple minutes further to the beach at Gooseberry Flat which is great for swimming and sunbathing.
