XSPOT Medlands Beach House was built in 2024 and overlooks beautiful Oruawharo Medlands Bay, which is just a short walk down the hill. It is perfectly situated along the main island road, just a 10-minute drive from Claris Airport and from Tryphena shops and The Currach Irish Pub.

With two bedrooms and two bathrooms and an open plan kitchen/lounge/social space in the middle, it’s perfect for one or two couples. The lounge as well as both bedrooms have views over the Oruawharo Medlands area. Great for surfies who want to keep an eye on the surf.

It really is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the sunrise from your bed, before kicking off on your Aotea adventures! You'll also find a good sized sun deck with glass balustrading to enjoy that amazing view and to sit out of the wind...  there is shade and more outdoor seating at the rear.
Kick back and enjoy a stunning sunrise over the ocean in the morning. Take in the views of the beach settlement below and listen to the waves rolling into the shore in the distance. It’s great for longer stays too, with a washing machine, excellent Wi-Fi, modern comfort and reliable systems.
Of course, the house is off grid, so being mindful of your usage is a requirement during your stay (no hair dryers/straighteners, rice cookers, electric toasters, and other appliances with heating elements, please).
